Celebrating Love & Weddings: Behind the Scenes of Stunning Cedarmont Weddings from the Past Year7/31/2025
Hi! I'm Brittany, the events manager at Cedarmont Farm and I'm so excited to be jumping on the blog today to talk about some of my favorite weddings from last year. As planners, we have the privilege of working one on one with couples to bring their dream wedding day to life and being an all-inclusive venue, we offer that stress free planning and design expertise. Each season at Cedarmont is beautiful and it is hard to choose which is my favorite time of the year to for a wedding as I love them all for different reasons! It’s an amazing experience to be part of so many special moments and witness such beautiful love stories. I’m excited to share a few of my favorite wedding designs from this past year! Colorful Spring WeddingSpring at Cedarmont is truly beautiful, with lush greenery and blooming trees creating the perfect backdrop for a picturesque wedding. It’s always exciting to see the colors, trends, and unique details our Spring brides choose. This particular wedding embraced a vibrant palette of pinks, blues, peach, yellow, and sage, which beautifully complemented the season and soft textures, pastel hues, and airy florals added an elegant and whimsical touch. The Historic House ceremony site, surrounded by gorgeous green trees, provided a naturally stunning setting. Delicate chiffon draping in the ceremony tree, along with gold stands topped with beautiful floral arrangements, created a dreamy, romantic atmosphere. The cocktail hour was filled with fun, personalized details, including a telephone guestbook, a colorful seating chart, and custom cocktail napkins featuring the couple’s pets. Incorporating pets into wedding details is always a charming touch! The telephone guestbook offered guests a unique way to leave heartfelt messages throughout the night for the couple to enjoy after their wedding. As guests entered the reception, they were welcomed by the warm glow of colorful taper candles. Farm tables were adorned with vintage bud vases filled with vibrant florals in shades of orange, peach, pink, and blue, while round tables showcased large, whimsical floral arrangements on gold stands, adding dimension to the space. The grand finale of the reception décor was a dazzling disco ball over the dance floor. As the celebration kicked off, the disco ball spun, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere, making for an unforgettable party! I truly loved seeing this pastel Nashville Spring wedding come to life!
Elegant Summer WeddingSummertime at Cedarmont Farm is a magical season filled with golden sunlight, vibrant greenery, and warm breezes. As the sun sets, the golden-hour glow creates a dreamy, romantic vibe, casting soft light over our open field—perfect for capturing stunning sunset photos with our couples! This gorgeous summer wedding showcased the timeless elegance of a classic white and greenery color palette. The brides's bouquet was simple with white roses and pops of greenery - but still a statement bouquet! Their ceremony was held on our terraced lawn, where the couple exchanged vows beneath our wooden arch, elegantly draped with white chiffon draping and accented with two beautiful floral arrangements. I love this ceremony site as it is beautiful no matter what season you want to get married due to the picture perfect backdrop of all the evergreen trees! Guest experience is always an important aspect when planning a wedding. A champagne wall welcomed guests as they went to take their seats for the ceremony. They were able to enjoy a crisp glass of champagne while they waited for the ceremony to begin! It is always exciting to see new and unique guest book ideas that our couple's come up with. This couple custom made playing cards with photos from their engagement that guests could sign and write a special message to the bride and groom - I love this idea for a couple that likes to play cards and games! The reception space featured many grand elements! When you entered the space, your eye was immediately drawn to the head table with the tall lush floral arrangements, greenery down the length of the table, and many candles of different sizes. Stunning chandeliers completed the look hanging directly above the head table. There were subtle pops of gold accents throughout the space, with the added charm of different patterned salad plates at each place setting. Their cake perfectly captured the refreshing flavors of summer with layers of vanilla cake, fresh strawberries, and smooth vanilla buttercream. As guests enjoyed their cake, the dance party began! And what better way to kick off the party than with dance floor props of light-up foam sticks and glowing cowboy hats, adding the perfect Nashville wedding touch!
Boho Autumn WeddingFall at Cedarmont Farm is a breathtaking display of the season's vibrant colors. The trees begin to change colors - showcasing the red, orange and yellow hues making it a beautiful season to get married! Fall trends offer such a wide range of themes and color palettes, and it's always exciting to see what our clients will choose during our design meetings. From deep jewel tones to soft neutrals to oranges and mustards, the possibilities are endless, and each couple brings their own unique touch to the season's beauty. It's always a fun surprise to see how they mix and match seasonal elements to create their dream autumn celebration! This beautiful October wedding embraced a soft, neutral palette of whites, champagne, and terracotta, accented with delicate dried elements that perfectly complemented the surrounding fall landscape. Rose petals were scattered down the aisle, creating a dreamy, romantic path to the altar. Alongside the stunning floral arch pieces, aisle ties were placed on every other row, adding that perfect touch to complete the ceremony look. The reception space was charming and warm, embracing rich fall tones throughout. Amber water glasses, bud vases filled with beautiful fall tone florals, black candle stands and brick-hued linens on the round tables brought depth and seasonal elegance, perfect for a warm and joyful celebration! With smaller guest counts, we have the option to have the head table in front of our stunning back windows. This is one of my favorite spots for the head table, as it truly allows it to stand out and become a beautiful focal point in the reception space. After all the formalities concluded, guests enjoyed red velvet cake and joined the couple on the black and white checkered dance floor—a bold statement piece that created the perfect space for a full night of dancing and celebrating the newlyweds!
