Their ceremony took place on the terraced lawn behind the barn, a gorgeous setting that added to the overall beauty of their day. Meet the Couple

Laura & Corey's adventure began with a Bumble match, and as fate would have it, they found themselves quarantined together during the pandemic. Amid painting Corey's house and getting to know each other better, their love story blossomed. Now, their days are filled with hiking, cooking, reading, and the delightful company of their beloved dog, Nova. Their shared eagerness to explore new horizons keeps their spirts high and their journey exciting!

The Proposal

"Our families had Thanksgiving dinner together and it was the first time they met. So, that next morning when Corey asked me to brunch, I didn't think anything of leaving everyone to go out alone- I figured Corey wanted to celebrate this milestone of our families meeting for the first time. After brunch, Corey said that we'd meet his family at Radnor lake and walk. When we got there, he made up an excuse and said that we should start without them. I was confused and offered for us to go home! Haha when we started walking, he grabbed my hand and I could feel him shaking. I heard something in his pocket- but I still didn't suspect a thing! I was so convinced nothing would happen without his sister in town- so convinced I had changed clothes after brunch into yoga pants and my old sneakers! Then, when we got to the spot, Corey got down on one knee and told me he wanted to marry me and why."

The Details

Nestled on the terraced lawn behind the barn, Laura & Corey's wedding unfolded in an enchanting ceremony. The arch, adorned with lush greenery and cascading blue florals, hints of ivory, rust, and blush, framed the couple as they said their heartfelt vows. As Laura walked down the aisle, their genuine connection warmed the hearts of all. The reception space was a picturesque scene, featuring abundant greenery and an array of florals in blue, ivory, blush, and rust tones, creating an atmosphere of  sophisticated charm. Round tables were adorned with delicate floating candles, casting a soft glow, while farm tables boasted light  blue taper candles. The stunning florals from the arch not only graced the ceremony but also found new life as they were repurposed to create a breathtaking display in front of the sweetheart table during the reception. Personal touches, such as a large interactive crossword puzzle with questions about the couple and honey jars with honey from the bees at Cedarmont, added charm. A bar menu featuring illustrations of their pets brought another personalized touch. Amidst loved ones, Laura and Corey danced the night away, crafting treasured memories. As the evening concluded, Laura's dress change marked a fun transition. A sparkler-lit pathway led them to a cute red trolley, a whimsical exit from a day filled with warmth and joy. In the embrace of laughter and love, Laura and Corey embarked on their journey and life together. 

Special Details from the Day

"We especially loved the crossword puzzle that we included and making time to enjoy the day! We both really had the mindset of “this is a party that we’re throwing to celebrate our marriage and so the focus should be having fun, laughing a lot, and being fully present with our loved ones". Something else that really stood out to me, was the bridal getting ready suite. I originally fell in love with the venue for that reason, and it was so much fun getting ready there with all my best friends. That is a memory I will cherish forever!" - Laura
