Kyla and Tyler's Nashville fall wedding took place on a gorgeous October day at Cedarmont Farm! At the end of February 2022, Kyla and Tyler moved to England for his new duty station in the Air Force. Even with moving across the world, the planning process was made easy because this couple booked our all inclusive package. It was really important to Kyla and Tyler for their guests to have an amazing time - which meant great food, florals, music, and drinks! They even incorporated cute details of their adorable dog Emmett throughout their wedding decor so he was included in their special day! Meet the CoupleKyla and Tyler met on the 4th of July in 2016 at a Honky Tonk on Broadway in Nashville. They love to go boating and fishing with their friends. They also really value just doing simple every day things together like making dinner or just watching a movie on the couch with their dog. The best trip they have ever taken together would have to be either the weekend away when they got engaged or trips back up North to see their families together. The Proposal"We went for a weekend getaway just the two of us. We got a really amazing Airbnb about an hour north of Tallahassee on this huge 200 acre farm... They even had those fluffy highland cows which was so cool. We were walking the property the one night looking for the best place to watch the sunset in the field and he proposed under a huge live oak on the property. It was perfect and intimate, just the two of us." - Kyla The DetailsKyla and Tyler's ceremony took place at our Historic House site. Her florals consisted of white, blush, pops of maroon and greenery. Her bouquet was a loose organic style with draping green amaranthus that added a special unique touch. The cocktail hour included adorable decor accents of their dog, Emmett - From their bar sign with Emmett inviting guests to have a drink to the cute custom acrylic stir sticks of Emmett's face! We can't get enough of those special unique details! Inside the event barn, greenery adorned the beams and posts, which popped against the barn's natural wood accents. Their centerpieces were tall gold floral stands with lush arrangements and pillar candles at the base for the round tables. Champagne runners were placed down the farm tables with loose leaf greenery and floral blooms tucked in accented with pillar candles. Velvet blush napkins brought in a touch of color and texture on the tables which paired beautifully with the floral colors. Their two tier semi-naked buttercream cake featured a custom gold acrylic cake topper with blush and maroon floral pops. A special part of the day would be the video toast from the best man. Unfortunately, he was deployed and was not able to make it to the wedding. He sent in a heartfelt video toast that was played at the reception which was such a sweet moment for our couple and their friends and family! "I can't pick out just one detail that we loved more than others. We loved every little detail that went into the day and how it all came together." - Kyla Wedding Planning Advice from the Couple"For the actual planning of the wedding I would recommend not getting stuck on the small details and just making sure what is most important to you is represented. I recommend sitting down as a couple and discussing what are the most important things to you and what will make your big day as a couple special - remember the day is going to be special regardless of those extra details. Also for anyone doing the all inclusive package, Colleen and her team are incredible at making all of your inspo pictures come to life and being mindful of your budget while making sure what is important to you is included. Enjoy the process, because Cedarmont definitely makes wedding planning fun. My advice on the actual day is to soak in the time with your loved ones and significant other because (as you will hear a million times over from everyone you know) the day flies by - it's true! We detached ourselves from the clock on our wedding day and we just enjoyed all of the time with our friends and family. Other than having a vague idea of the timeline, I never once looked at a watch or a clock and just lived in the moment. Lastly, just have fun! There are few occasions in life where you get all your family and friends together in one room, so party and enjoy the amazing day with your spouse." Vendors
