Taylor & Austin - A Winter Wedding in Nashville, TN

​Taylor and Austin's beautiful Cedarmont Farm winter wedding in Nashville, was a true testament to the power of love. Despite the cold and rainy weather, this happy couple didn't let anything dampen their spirits on their special day. They were determined to celebrate their love and commitment to each other, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The sweet moments began when Taylor and Austin read notes from each other while getting ready separately and continued when Taylor and Austin saw each other for their first look. As they laid eyes on each other, it was clear that their love was stronger than any weather that could come their way. Their wedding ceremony was gorgeous, held inside our beautiful event barn.  Keep reading to hear more details about the couple and their day.  

Meet the Couple

​Taylor and Austin went to school when they were younger together, but they dramatically reconnected one night when Taylor was in downtown Nashville and walked right out in to the street in front of Austin’s truck to get into her Uber. After being pulled out of the road and looking up, Taylor and Austin made eye contact and realized they knew each other. Austin then reached out to Taylor, and they’ve been together ever since. Now as a couple, they love to go to Austin’s family's farm, hike, play with their dogs, watch tv shows, cook, and have date nights!

The Proposal

In November 2021, Austin took Taylor to take pictures at his family's farm. “At the end, he said he had one more pose. He got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! Shortly after, my parents showed up and surprised me!” - Taylor

The Details of this stunning Cedarmont Farm Winter Wedding

The event barn provided the perfect setting for Taylor & Austin's heartfelt ceremony, with the large windows casting a soft, natural light. Against this backdrop, delicate draping and a stunning chandelier were arranged, enhancing the romantic atmosphere. We absolutely loved that the cross they got married under was one that Austin had built himself. As Taylor made her way down the aisle to Austin, it was clear to all that they share a deep connection. Her  bouquet was adorned with greenery and white florals that mirrored the florals that hung on the cross behind them. The reception was nothing short of elegant, with lush greenery and gold accents. The warm glow of taper candles added to the intimate ambiance of the evening. Some of our favorite details from the reception included gold name plates on each glass - giving a personal touch to the evening and a stunning flower wall with a neon sign that read "Taylor and Austin". As the night came to a close, Taylor and Austin shared a private last dance, savoring the final moments of their magical day. Despite the chilly weather, this Cedarmont Farm winter wedding was full of warmth, love and laughter. Taylor and Austin had the time of their lives, surrounded by their nearest and dearest and made so many memories that they will carry with them for a lifetime.

​“My wedding advice to couples is to just enjoy your wedding with your people. I had a blast just getting to be surrounded by all of the people who mean the world to me and Austin and let go of the control of the night. Truly my biggest piece of advice is to enjoy it- it's so surreal and it goes by so fast!”
