Sam and Nick booked our all-inclusive wedding venue almost two years before their actual wedding date so we were able to have fun planning and working with this fun couple for awhile! For decor, Sam wanted to combine both elegant and modern southern vibes into the event barn and the result was absolutely stunning. From their attire (can we just talk about how AMAZING Sam's dress is? and Nick's patterned suit? and please keep scrolling to see her exit outfit) to the florals and linens, this wedding was effortlessly cool, down-to-earth and beautiful, which is a great way to describe the couple themselves. The most important aspect of their wedding day to them was the celebration. They wanted amazing music and dancing and their band, The Blue Tones, kept the reception rocking til the very end. "We chose Cedarmont Farm because in one venue you have nature, history, and Pinterest level rustic barn vibes. You can have it all! We also love that it is all inclusive and that Colleen was so knowledgeable and accommodating to the ideas we had." -Sam Meet the CoupleSam and Nick met on a dating app! It was love at first swipe as they like to say! Some of the things they love to do together are going on walks with Winnie (their golden doodle), enjoying live music events, visiting local breweries, traveling to the beach, and golfing. The Proposal"Sam's family was in town for what she thought was her mom's birthday weekend. The group started at brunch and then went to Belle Meade for a tour and wine tasting. While walking around, I got down on one knee. The surprise continued from there. When the group got back to the house, Sam and my family and friends had all come in to town to celebrate." -Nick The DetailsThe ceremony for Sam and Nick took place at our beautiful Historic House ceremony spot. We kept the ceremony decor simple and let the beautiful natural setting speak for itself. Sam's gorgeous bouquet was a classic structured bouquet with white peonies and white playa blanca roses wrapped with white ribbon. After the ceremony, guests were taken by trolley to cocktail hour on our event barn patio where there were an assortment of lawn games to enjoy. Sam and Nick created a unique seating chart using polaroid photos of friends and family through the years with their seating assignment on them. Upon entering the event barn for the reception, southern modern elegance filled the space. To create this vibe, blue and white printed linens on the rounds were accented by the quintessential Southern white hydrangea. For the farm tables on the sides, lush white hydrangea runners ran down the center. The statement piece for the reception was the long farm tables down the center which featured over 200 single white roses in bud vases illuminated by votives. Proving once again that they are the coolest couple in the world, Sam changed into a pink feather dress complete with light up boots for their classic bubble exit. Special Details from the Day"We did a "first look" of the venue! Pausing to see the details come together before everyone else caught a glimpse was a special wow moment. We also did a unique table assignment using polaroid photos of friends and family through the years with their seating assignment on them. The process of going through old family photos to find baby pictures and old wedding photos made for special memories and laughs leading up to the day. To this day, people still tell us it was the most special seating assignment they've ever seen. Our guests were able to pass the photo around at the tables and share the memory the photo represented which was heartwarming for Nick and me to see." Wedding Planning Advice from the Couple"Colleen and team worked so hard to make my vision a reality. A Pinterest photo turned real life! She worked to find the right table cloths (we explored MANY options ha!), the perfect "rose runner," and everything in between. I cannot emphasize the benefit of having an all-inclusive package through Cedarmont enough! I would have been under water without the guidance of Colleen during those last few weeks. Trusting that they were taking care of even the smallest details made the time leading up to the wedding joyful when it could have been stressful." Vendors
