From Florida, to Tennessee, with a few stops in-between, distance could never stop the love between these two. Kéra and Karl met at work in Tampa Florida and quickly became friends. Shortly after becoming friends, Kéra left that job and the two lost touch. Four years later they reconnected over their Faith and after talking a bit they finally had their first date over coffee. The Proposal: The Big Day: The couple was married thirteen days before Christmas. They wanted a holiday themed wedding, but nothing too "Christmas-y". To achieve this lavish festive winter look in the reception barn, they combined velvet napkins with gold accents and wove pomegranates and evergreens into the florals. They got married on the terraced hillside behind our event barn and for their ceremony backdrop they had a cross with a beautiful vintage rug underneath it from Spark Vintage. The wild Tennessee weather was also on the couple's side that day, the forecast called for one-hundred percent rain. Luckily, by ceremony time it was 68 degrees and the skies were crystal clear. Advice From the Couple: After the reception, when everyone is lining up save the last dance for you and your spouse. Something about being together and taking in the day without everyone there is magical; you started the day together and finished it as one. And of course, put your trust in God; he makes all things possible and we just new everything was going to go the way God had planned it! Vendors
