We are so happy Lindsey and Jason's chose Cedarmont Farm for their all inclusive wedding venue in Nashville, TN. Their wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and togetherness. This couple loves to laugh and keep it light but their deep love and devotion to each other and their family was evident throughout the day. While getting ready Lindsey and Jason made sure to enjoy the moment with their closest friends and family. Before the ceremony, the couple shared a sweet "first touch" moment where they held hands at our historic house and read letters to each other but waited until the ceremony to see each other. They also chose to do a sand pouring ceremony with Jason's children during their wedding to symbolize their families becoming one. Opting for color, the beautiful Fall day was perfectly complemented by the deep blues and reds of the decor as well as the gold accents which gave the design an elevated feel. Keep reading for more details on their day and their romantic proposal in the rain. Meet the CoupleLindsey and Jason met by both swiping right on Tinder! They love to hike, watch “their shows” (Chicago shows- Chicago Fire, PD, Med, and FBI), cook together, and go on dates. The Proposal"The proposal happened during the middle of tropical storm Elsa, on the Savannah River Walk on July 7th. Ellie Jane, Jason’s daughter from his first marriage, kind of let the cat out of the bag a couple weeks prior to the trip. So, I had an idea, but I didn’t think he’d do it when we were walking (running) back to the hotel in the pouring rain. He likes to keep me on my toes, always." - Lindsey The DetailsLindsey and Jason's wedding was a perfect representation of the couple's down-to-earth personalities. The couple chose to get married in our terraced ceremony area under our wood arch adorned with florals in front of the people they love, creating an intimate and personal atmosphere. Lindsey's bouquet was stunning with light blush, pinks and deep reds and the cascading amaranthus looked so romantic against the lace of her dress. The reception was full of sweet moments and thoughtful details with a fall vibe. Greenery, red and pink florals complimented the gold geometric shapes and dark blue runners down the farm tables. Sweet photos of the couple and their family were hung around the tree off our cocktail porch. After dinner guests enjoyed a s'mores bar, adding a cozy touch to the celebration. As the night wore on, Lindsey and Jason danced the night away with their loved ones, surrounded by laughter, love, and happiness. Special Details from the Day"I loved how attentive the staff was and how beautifully thought out every detail was. I also so appreciated the time carved out for Jason and I to enjoy one another in the loft before we joined the party! The time in the bridal house with my family and friends was perfect too. The guests still talk about how amazing the ceremony and cocktail hour was too. The pictures around the tree, games, cocktails, all of it!" Wedding Planning Advice from the Couple"Don’t sweat the small things and make a list.. Don’t procrastinate on things. It can get overwhelming, but your engagement flies by, and you need to divvy up tasks, make a list, and again... don’t sweat the little things. " Vendors
