Eileen and Adam were one of our COVID couples who postponed their wedding at Cedarmont Farm. Selfishly, we enjoyed the extra year of planning their all-inclusive Franklin wedding with them, as they are the sweetest people ever, but we were so excited when they finally got to celebrate with all their friends and family. For this couple, the most important part of their wedding day was to have fun with the people they care about and to make sure their guests had a great time, laughed a lot and danced the night away!
Meet the Couple
Eileen and Adam met while working together at an academic summer camp at the University of Tennessee. They love to play board games, cook, go rock climbing, and watch musicals.
Eileen & Adam chose to tie the knot in our beautiful field ceremony spot with the gorgeous tree line as a backdrop. A spring wedding at Cedarmont Farm means lots and lots of gorgeous green, so a field ceremony was the perfect place to show off the beautiful views. Eileen's bouquet and florals incorporated greenery with blush and pops of white and burgundy blooms. The centerpieces at the reception were more modern with lots of candlelight, greenery, white and blush blooms and gold geometric shaped votives. Their 3-tiered naked buttercream cake included floral accents and a custom gold cake topper that impressively pointed out these two are both "Dr."
Special Details from the Day
"Some of our favorite parts were having a few minutes to ourselves in the loft after the ceremony, golden hour pictures in the field, and not having to worry about anything on the day of!"
Wedding Planning Advice from the Couple:
"Make sure to be flexible: pick a few things that matter most and don't worry as much about the rest. Don't sweat the small stuff and delegate whatever tasks to friends/family who want to feel helpful anyway they can"
