Lisa and Devin's beautiful Nashville Spring wedding at Cedarmont Farm showcased their unique style with added details that were personal to them. With Lisa being a scientist and Devin loving to play the guitar, they were able to incorporate that into their decor on their wedding day. Meet the Couple:Lisa and Devin met on Hinge. They enjoy going to the movie theater, Predators games, Sounds games, and traveling! The best trip they ever took was to Charleston, South Carolina. The Proposal:"It was just a normal Friday night, but we had been planning our trip to Charleston, SC and Lisa was starting to suspect that the proposal would happen while we were there. And in all honesty, I had at one point planned on doing just that. Knowing that she started to suspect, I was afraid that the surprise would be ruined. On a whim, I decided to propose on a day that would best represent what everyday life would be like in our future. So while we were grilling on the back patio I popped the question..." - Devin The DetailsThe day was a little chilly so Devin and Lisa decided to have their ceremony inside our beautiful event barn. The string lights and greenery throughout the space gave the ceremony such an intimate vibe. Floral accents of white blooms with greenery adorned the aisle and back window. After the ceremony, guests headed to cocktail hour where the couple had personal unique details to make their day even more special. Since Lisa is a scientist, she incorporated beakers for her flower arrangements on the cocktail tables. Devin plays guitar, so guests had a choice between two music themed guestbooks to sign: a guitar or a record print with the lyrics of their first dance song. Their reception featured a gorgeous garland of greenery with pops of white blooms surrounded by candles. The textured buttercream cake had white roses and greenery with a custom gold cake topper. Special Details from the Day"Devin and his groomsmen also had fun patterns on the insides of their suit jackets, and I had custom converse which allowed us to show a little personality." Wedding Planning Advice from the Couple"There is always room to add special touches to make your wedding personal and unique to you. Also, the days moves so fast so taking a couple of minutes to be intentional about noticing and appreciating the details of the wedding and reception is important." Vendors
