Rachel and Tommy's beautiful Nashville November wedding at Cedarmont Farm was a day to remember! Even though the day was chilly, celebrating their love with their family and friends brought all the warmth to the day! The most important aspect of their day was for a fun atmosphere with dancing and crowd participation! (And wait until you see the exciting guest that surprised them at their wedding!) "When I drove onto Cedarmont Farm, I knew I loved it. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. There are tons of amazing places to take pictures, I love the separate areas for the bridal party to get ready in and I love the all inclusive component - it took tons of stress off of me." Meet the CoupleRachel and Tommy met on the dating app Hinge. Their first date was at The Row Kitchen & Pub in Nashville. They love walking outside, playing with Murphy their Golden Retriever, watching sports, trying new restaurants, traveling together, and listening to podcasts. The best trip they took together was Colorado - Tommy learned to ski there! The Proposal"It was my birthday and all day he had convinced me the proposal wasn't going to happen. We were getting ready to go out to dinner and he called my name, I looked over and he was down on one knee. He said "will you marry me?" and I said " You're lying". Then he opened the box, I cried like a baby and said yes. We then had to take a minute to call my family and tell them the news. We went to dinner and had an amazing meal with champagne and had the best evening ever." - Rachel The DetailsRachel and Tommy were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they said "I do" at our historic house ceremony site! Guests then took the trolley down to our event barn for cocktail hour. Once guests arrived at cockatil hour, they we greeted with light up marquee letters spelling out our couples lastname - these letters are such a fun photo op! Guests had their choice between 3 custom signature cocktails - the "His" Paloma cocktail, the "Hers" Aperol Spritz cocktail, or the "Murphy" cocktail which is a vodka blackberry cocktail named after their adorable golden retriever! We just love when couples find cute unique ways to include their pets in their special day! Inside for reception, the farm tables had looseleaf greenery with burgundy and ivory florals tucked in. Floating candles accented the tables which added a warm and romantic vibe. Their 3 tier horizontal buttercream cake with cascading florals had a cute addition to the back of the cake - a golden retriever figurine to represent their dog Murphy taking a little bite out of their cake! - SO CUTE! The biggest surprise of the night came when the mascot of Tommy's alma mater WKU, Big Red popped in to congratulate and celebrate with our couple! Special Details from the Day"We loved the ceremony as a whole. It was very special. We also absolutely loved the food and reception. The whole day was so fun and everything went smoothly. All staff was super friendly and helpful and we loved everything about the day. The surprise of Big Red at the wedding was awesome. My husband and all his friends loved it as they all went to WKU as well as several of Tommy’s family members." Wedding Planning Advice from the Couple"Our advice to future couples is to trust the process. Cedarmont has the wedding planning down to a science. Don’t be afraid to ask questions they are always willing to answer questions and help with ideas if you need suggestions!"
